First off, Hello and welcome to The Ancient Art Of Tf2
On this blog I will be posting all things that are Tf2 from trading tips to the newest items it will be all here. If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment below :D -Tristan
Today Im going to be covering Scrap anyone who has played tf2 knows about Scrap, (Being the currency if you will of the game.) But this seemingly straight forward aspect of the game is everything but simple, lets brake it down. To get a scrap you go to the crafting menu and then select 2 weapons used bu the same class. As an example The Original + The Rocket Jumper = 1 Scrap.
So what can this scrap do for us? well with the help of the people from scrap.tf you can trade 1 scrap for 2 weapons of your choice so you just traded your duplicate Rocket Launchers, for some weapons you can actually use Amazing :D. Now that you have crafted 3 scrap you can combine them to create a Reclaimed and with 3 Reclaimed you can craft a Refined, These three metals are also known as Scrap,Rec and Ref. So how do you get numbers like 1.33 Ref or 0.66 Rec? well it all comes down to Math. 3 Scrap make 1 Rec and 3 Rec make a Ref it takes 9 Scrap to make 1 Ref so what 1.33 Ref is basically 1 Ref and 1 Rec and 0.66 Rec is Just 2 Scrap 0.99 Rec is 3 Scrap and so on. So what about 0.44 Ref This is just 1 Rec (0.33) and 1 Scrap (0.11 of a Rec). And there you go with this knowledge you can go forth into the trading community and successfully trade that 0.33 rec you have lying around (the 1 Scrap btw)
I hope this has been help full to you and thank you for reading this is cya next time from me -Tristan :D
